Norwegian Centre for Learning Environment and Behavioural Research in Education has a network of fellow researchers working within the field of social and emotional difficulties among children and young people.
National and international conferences, exchange periods and visitors contribute to a constant growth of international contacts.
The centre has two professor II positions, one from Finland and one from USA.
The most important network is Core-Net which includes Norway, Finland, Ireland, Canada, USA and Australia.
Centre for Behavioural Research is additionally a part of the Vista project together with Great Britain, Belgium, Ireland, Finland, Spain and Bulgaria.
The centre has also collaborated with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). In 2004 the University of Stavanger and Centre for Behavioural Research (now Norwegian Centre for Learning Environment and Behavioural Research in Education) arranged the international conference ”Taking Fear Out of Schools” in cooperation with OECD and Norwegian authorities.
